The Premier League 2022-23 is going to be remembered for many things in the future. Like the new rules, pause for unprecedented reasons and of-course new exciting signings. There were many big names who left the league for better offers, but there were many big names getting into the best football league in the world to prove their mettle.

The Premier League clubs spent more than 2 billion in transfers this season. With Chelsea spending the most bucks, ManU aren’t far behind in spending huge amounts to get world-class players. Similarly, clubs like West Ham United and Nottingham Forest have spent 140 million to get the best out of the window to turn their fortunes.

With so many amazing talents getting into the league and joining new clubs, let’s look at the best 11 signings for the EPL 2022 season.

Best 11 Signings for EPL 2022;

#1: Dean Henderson

From Manchester United To Nottingham Forest // Value – Loan

Manchester United’s second-choice keeper has been a great move for Forest as they got promoted to Premier League this season. Henderson was on loan from 2018 to 2022 at Sheffield United, and has done well for the team. But he couldn’t move De Gea from the No.1 spot for the club, and could manage to appear in only 4 games in United’s shirt last season.

#2: Lisandro Martinez

From Ajax To  Manchester United // Value – 55 Million Euros

Manchester United had to figure out gaps at the back line, and they did a smart move by signing the Argentine defender this season. He started the season as a centre back alongside Harry Maguire and will soon look to make an impact on the league with upcoming games.

United have shown immense confidence in the defender, and have signed a contract till June 2027, with the option to extend for a further year. Lisandro brings new energy to the squad along with the experience of winning titles with Argentina and Ajax. United would look forward to grooming the defender with PL needs and making a beast out of him.

#3: Kalidou Koulibaly

From Napoli To Chelsea // Value – 33.8 million Euros

Chelsea have signed a 4-year contract with the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as their second signing of the season window. After Rudiger’s move to Real Madrid, Chelsea was in dire need to get a strong defender. The 31-year-old has made more than 300 appearances with Napoli in 8 years and is being at the top of Chelsea’s signing list since 2016.

#4: Neco Williams

From Liverpool To Nottingham Forest // Value – 17.5 Million Euros

The newly promoted Nottighman Forest has made a strong statement in this year’s transfer window. Forest has signed Neco Willams from Liverpool for 17.5 million Euros including add-ons. Liverpool’s young squad member has spent almost 15 years in the club before making a move to Forest. This move will surely benefit Neco as he can have more game time before the World Cup.

#5: Oleksandr Zinchenko

From Manchester City To Arsenal // Value – 32 million Euros

Gunners have signed the Ukraine International for 32 Million Euros from Manchester City who made a huge profit on the sale. Man City bought Zinchenko for mere 1.6 Million Euros in 2016. This shows how immensely talented the lad is. The 25-year-old is not only an effective option at the left-back position, but also a very handy option in mid-field. 

#6: Christian Eriksen

From Brentford To Manchester United // Value – 13 million Euro

The Comeback star, Christian Eriksen has made news with his big move to Manchester United this season by signing the contract until June 2025. Ten Hag has wanted Eriksen from day one, and so did Man United. United had an eye on Eriksen since his Ajax days. 

The Central midfielder has played a total of  237 games in PL, registering 52 goals and 71 assists, also scoring 38 goals in 115 games for Denmark. He is technically very sound, and brings a calm to the midline and a master in providing assists.

#7: Marc Cucurella

From Brighton  To Chelsea // Value – 60 Million Euros

Chelsea have signed the 24-year-old as the replacement of Marcos Alonso who moved to Barcelona this summer. Cucurella provides multiple options to Chelsea’s boss in defence as well as played farther up. With Ben Chilwell’s comeback, Chelsea have strengthened their left flank with this signing. He was among the top 4 defenders in the league in the 2021-22 season in terms of tackles, and has also performed really well in the final third. 

#8: Casemiro

From Real Madrid  To Manchester United // Value – 69.53 million Euros

Having spent more than 8 years with the Spanish giants Real Madrid, Casemiro has moved to Premier League for new challenges and to achieve more. He has 5 Champions Trophy titles to his name and that itself tells how effective and experienced the 30-year-old Defensive Midfielder is.

United have left no stone unturned when it came to searching for the best signings. The 4-year deal with 70 million plus 11 million add-ons  came as a surprise to many. But there is no doubt the Brazilian is one of the best Defensive midfielders in the world.

#9: Raheem Sterling

From Manchester City To Chelsea // Value – 66 million Euros

The search for a proper striker was the top priority for the Chelsea side. Unsurprisingly, they made one of the best transfers this season by signing Manchester City’s star striker, Raheem Sterling. The 27-year-old England international has joined the squad as the very first signing that the club made in 50 million pounds plus add-ons. The contract signed by the striker is valid till June 2027 with an option for an additional year.

Sterling also wanted to move out of City after getting less game time after Jack Grealish’s signing. The City boss is now looking forward to structuring the attack with Halland, Foden, and Mahrez. Sterling brings a lot of top-tier experience with Man City, Liverpool and England and is a perfect bit for Blue’s need. Chelsea would hope that their jinx of non-performing strikers comes to an end with the signing of Sterling and Auba.

#10: Gabriel Jesus

From Manchester City  To Chelsea // Value – 45 million Euros

Arsenal have been looking out actively for a quality striker after Auba’s move to Barcelona. Now Arsenal went all in for Gabriel Jesus in this transfer window ,and now Jesus is the highest-paying Arsenal Player. Arsenal is looking for a long-term investment in the Brazilian pedigree, and wanted to build a strong attacking unit around him.

#11: Erling Haaland

From Borussia Dortmund To Manchester City // Value – 63 million Euro

Manchester City have bought the most exciting talent in world football currently in Erling Haaland for just 63 million Euros. Undoubtedly ‘The Signing of the Season’. And oh man! He has shown the world what he is capable of in the initial few games only with Man City. The Norway Striker has had a remarkable career in Borussia Dortmund, scoring 86 goals and 89 matches.

Halland also wanted to join City and has a family connection with the club since his childhood. Erling Halland’s father captained City from 2000 to 2003, and Halland always followed Manchester City since his younger days. He said “ I was born in England. I have been a City fan my whole life. I know a lot about the club”
